We would like to take this time to thank you for the business you have given us over the years. A lot has changed since the fall of 1960 when our father, Darwin, and our uncle, Gene, started their Chevrolet business in Gate City. Gas was inexpensive and so were vehicles. A nice Chevrolet could be purchased for less than $2500 and gas was less than 30 cents. Their business prospered and remained good to them for the rest of their lives. Gene passed away in 1979 and Darwin passed away in 1984. As one chapter ended, another began. Jim and I have owned the dealership from 1984 until the present and we too have been blessed over the years. We have looked forward each day to seeing our many customers and friends who have blessed our lives. Our wonderful employees have become like family to us and have been one of our greatest assets. There is no way we can say thank you enough to those who have supported us through the years. But, as the saying goes, "All good things come to an end." After 47 years we have decided to relinquish our Chevrolet franchise and close our business once everything is sold. So, once again, one chapter ends and another begins. In the future, if you are looking for a new or used Chevrolet or need service work done on the vehicle you now own, the folks at Courtesy Chevrolet in Kingsport, Tennessee will be glad to help you. They offer a full range of Chevrolet vehicles as well as factory trained technicians to keep your Chevrolet running in perfect condition. They will be happy to take care of any warranty issues that might arise. Once again, thanks and may God bless each of you.
